Giovanni Sarti
Pedagogist, teacher and facilitator of community cinema. For ten years he has been promoting collective educational projects through art, culture and new technologies. In 2017 he collaborated with Ojo al Sancocho in Ciudad Bolivar (Colombia), conducting an ethnographic study on community cinema. In 2023, he made a community documentary in the city of Imola (Italy), with the youth of the working-class neighborhood «Marconi.»
«La Dynamique des Choses», is a collective of women artists who set up micro-residencies for multidisciplinary and collaborative research, as well as creative explorations. The public is included in each of the steps. We share our work in cultural and non-conventional places. Our work is based on three research axes: co-creation and transmission; art and craft; feminism and sisterhood. By proposing devices/protocols to be activated, and by sharing ideas and techniques, we collectively create and develop works on site.
Our inspirations are drawn from situations we (as women) encounter in everyday life, our relationship to the body or the environment; themes with which visitors easily identify (men and women). The collaboration between artists and visitors is central to our practice. During the «Ojo al sancocho» festival, the collective invites the public to participate, perform and create pieces based on the emotions brought on by current issues such as gentrification, the climate crisis, migration and racism, the central themes of the festival. The collective invites you to take part in three protocols :
- – Emotional creatures, an exquisite corpse game to draw and perform
- – Don’t sleep on your emotions, embroid and defend an emotional need/state
- – Emotional sketches, transpose an emotion with colors on the tablecloth of the festival

He works in drawing, film and performance on research-based and interdisciplinary projects, which are often created in a collective context.
In 2021 he published the graphic novel «Otras Rayas -. Other Lines», published by Golden Press Verlag Bremen dealing with German coloniality in Colombia, based on his family history.
Together with Sahba Sahebi, he staged it as a multimedia lecture performance.
Performances and invitations followed to Miss Read at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, the Habibi Kiosk of the Münchener Kammerspiele, at the Künstlerhaus Stuttgart and the Filmhaus Nuremberg. His short films, performances and installations have been shown at the Neuer Berliner Kunstverein, at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, the Documentary and Video and Videofest Kassel, at the Werkleitz Gesellschaft, the International Shortfilmfestival Bogotá, the Kunstwerke Berlin and the Kunsthalle Vienna. As part of the ongoing project Chalarka Remix in 2022 he began a cooperation with the Ojo al Sancocho Festival for Community Cinema Ciudad Bolívar, Bogotá. christiandiaz.net
